hey hey

hello wadicup pom puerns!
well, sorry for the lack of correspondence but we seem to have settled somewhat into a bit of a routine of late with not that much to report as we've settled into our new home and lazy life without too much distraction, partying, alcohol etc and it feels good!nice to have a break for a change and get out of the infamous (weeeeell,im on holiday form of persuasion in all its many forms!)sometimes you forget that 6months of that will probably kill you and its fair enough when you're away for a week or two but gets a bit much on the mind, body and bank balance after a few months!hence, for the past 8-9 days or so i have embarked on something a little kinder to these three things!on the 2nd of this month i started an intensive yoga program and participate 6 days per week monday to saturday and 5 hours per day 8.30am-10.30 and 3pm - 6!this,at first along with the physical involves alot of theory and lectures which is very very interesting and unlike many practices about the mystical and intriguing the tutors are actually so very knowledgable in their field that they explain it all in a very easily understandable manner and along side tried and tested(many over thousands of years! )techniques they also explain the also tried and tested scientific explanations for everything they teach!so as you may know many people say (including me at some point) many of these practices are fairy tale stories and old myths this school actually backs it all up with worldwide scientific proof behind what they actually teach here which i must say makes it all the more intriguing, pleasurable and compelling!already im finding benefits from my time here!also they teach many ancient traditional yoga techniques that really focus mainly on the mind and how to control it rather than many new age practices that merely use the many gymnastic like positions for just that, flexibility etc as that should merely be a secondary benefit from such practice.i must say my mind has alot more clarity to it and my body has changed also just from 8 days exercising these routines but ive merely scratched the surface as in the latter stages of this month and indeed the second month provides alot more intense techniques that bring so much more to the student and if practiced regularly acn bring a world of paranormal phenomenon at your disposal(most of them after years of intense practice but you have to start somewhere!i cant wait!although having to cut out my morning coffee and cigarette, refrain from meat and alcohol is a bit of an arse you just have to see something you want to attain and set about getting it by the particular means possible i suppose but man does it have such a beneficial effect on the body!alot of it (depending on what sort of mood you're in!)can seem a bit laa di daah but the fact that its all proven and backed up by global scientific research actually makes it impossible to ridicule!if you want to check it out the website is www.agamayoga.com ive always said that id love to learn something and put my time out here to good use but until now never have so it feels good to get my head around something new!pulled my shoulder a little yesterday though which is a bit harsh!been road running a bit over the mountains and swimming almost daily so its all good and nice to be active in fact the more vegetables i eat the more energy i seem to possess although i have a little chicken binge now and again as im getting a bit skinny! ssssshhhhhh (oh n i just had a coffee..........oh and a wee cigarette....but only a wee one! sssssshhhh : ) well its my birthday tomorrow so as i dont think im going to drink n be merry im treating myself!weeeeeeeeeeeell i must say though the classes seem alot more difficult after ive ingested any sort of supposed toxins!ive been putting all my loose change into a birthday fund (water bottle piggy bank)for a few days now and i hope by tomorrow to have enough to treat myself to a bottle of olive oil for the kitchen!hehe i know, what an exciting life i lead!well, its bloody expensive and as im doing this yoga thing my funds are dwindling fast and today i had to fork out 50 pounds for another scooter for the next month!sadly my esteemed compadre jenny 13 n i are no longer joined at the hip as over the past month she had developed a few little illnesses and im afraid infamous thong nai pan road had taking its toll on her dusty, withered frame hence today i traded her in and got myself a newer model to wizz around on(run into the ground!; ) my guitar practice has taken a little bit of a back seat but now starting to pick it up again and is still coming along nicely!our cooking skill have improved tremendously and we have now perfected the art of our two favourite curries(green curry and massaman)due to the wealth of unbelievably good tasting fresh produce at our disposal!i sent my new camera(the broken one!) back to nikon in bangkok the other day and it still hasnt returned leaving me a little concerned but hopefully so keep your fingers crossed for me!the bad run of luck continues with electrical goods as ive now managed to block my sim card from my phone so have therefore lost everyones phone numbers!sorry!but you haqve my new no. we have been getting alot of rain most of the eason this time around but ust recently you may have heard of the south china sea having a massive hurricane!?well we're getting the repercussions of that and are having some crazy storms but its always good to watch a good storm and impressive lightening shows!just a pity i cannot phoograph them!doh!and a little bit of an arse when i have to ride over the mountains to yoga in the heavy downpours!not sure how long i can afford to keep the yoga up for but already i know enough to practice on my own but would like to stay on long enough to learn the tantra side of things also which yield some very powerful techniques though i do plan to return here or india to continue my study for at least a few months so if anyone is interested save some cash and you're welcome to join me sometime in the future probably starting around christmas 2007 but we'll see!also ive just been reccomended by a good friend (thanks donna!x) to go check out a place in kanchanaburi on the western mainland called the tiger temple which if i remember rightly from the email is the only place in the world where you can play with uncaged tigers which has always been a dream of minew so if i have the means i think i'll visit there before we leave for australia as it'd be nice to explore a little more of this fine land!
anyway ive babbled enough and have to prepare for my afternoon class so farewell for now and thanks for reading my random rubbish! : )
take care y'all and be lucky!
much love
